Proclaimed “Best Album of the Year” by the Toronto Sun, Ann’s debut album, Baptism, is an early compilation of folk-oriented love, protest and reflection songs. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with musicians from the London Philharmonic. Baptism was produced by one of Britain’s top record producers, Norman Newell.
“Ann has created a masterpiece in this recording. Her years of travel, spiritual searching, performing, writing and a deep desire to touch bases with her roots in Africa, all come to fruition. I was deeply moved, and I think you will be, too.” Paul Horn
